New Buffalo Baptist Church is located at 1010 Lavender Road, Grover N.C.
The church was established in 1945 with 4 charter members still with us. In 2005 a fellowship/gym was built on site and it has become a blessing by being used as Sunday School rooms, gym, and fellowship hall. We have a large kitchen that is used frequently for church activities.
There is a building for our youth that was formerly the fellowship hall. We have Sunday School there, some VBS classes, and youth activities.
Our seniors stay busy with Sunday School, eating out for lunch once a month and senior meals at the church once a month. Outings are planned for those who would like to get away for the day and about every other year we go to Jubilee in Gattlinburg, Tenn.
Our children’s department is growing! We have adults that love teaching about the Lord and doing hands on activities.
We have 2 vans used for our Van Ministry and also any activity needed.
Twice a month we visit Peak Resorce Center in Shelby to have church with the residents.
There is an on site cementary at New Buffalo.
With much patience and prayer we are blessed to have a choir director who is also our piano player. She spends many hours preparing music for our adult and youth choir.
